What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number deaths as a result of driving?
As a fellow teenage driver it is important to learn and practice safe driving especially at younger ages. Speaking from experience I had taken a driver education course in 10th grade and since I was exposed to this info at a younger age I am more attentive to what to expect and how to properly execute safe driving. It is important to teach driver education especially to younger teenagers who are eager to get on the road. If the younger generations are exposed to driver education classes they one will have a better understanding on what to expect in taking future classes or when it comes to taking their drivers test. With background information from drivers education courses it gives them a jumpstart in their driving career in becoming the best driver they can be. Once they are on the road they are able to execute the skills and lessons they learned in not only keeping themselves safe but other drivers as well. This can reduce car crashes and other events from happening. Of course you are always going to have a bad nut here and there where they might be caught drinking and driving. This however can’t be stopped completely but it can reduce the numbers of events like these while exposing them to this information at a younger age. The rules and regulations portrayed through those classes can be used as a wake up call as well so that those who want to drive have a warning that they were already taught this information they just chose not to execute the skills they had learned.
