Safe Driving

Driving should be considered one of the most dangerous tasks a human can perform. Having a complete knowledge of driver safety and education can put you in the safest position behind the wheel. There are many steps a person can take to insure the decrease of deathly car accidents. Step one is wearing a seat belt. Believe it or not people still don’t take 3 seconds of their time to clasp their seatbelt. There have been many situations where a person wasn’t wearing his or her seatbelt and unfortunately passed but it has been proven that if seatbelts had been worn the outcome of the accident would have been different. Step two stay cautious of your surroundings. Driving is very similar to a relationship one wrong move or decision from one of the drivers can make everything fall apart. Driving is literally a two-lane street if a person isn’t paying attention on their side of the road it puts the person on the other side at risk and vise versa. Step three is putting your phone down. Most states say not to text and drive but being on your phone in general is very dangerous. I have had experiences with family members using their phone while driving the car and it is a very big distraction. Phones shouldn’t be in a person’s hand while driving. Before starting your drive turn on a playlist and let it play. This will help you arrive alive. The final and biggest step of them all is to not drink and drive. Alcohol effects people in different ways but in everyone it slows down reaction time and makes it very hard to focus on one thing. There are so many new options of transportation to keep people out. Of the driver’s seat while intoxicated. Paying seven dollars for an uber home is way cheaper than paying a 3,000 dollar hospital bill from an accident that could have been prevented.
