Driver Education Initiative Programs

The importance of driver education in reducing the number deaths because of driving is extremely important. I am currently working on getting my driver’s license from a local company in Corpus Christi, Texas. I highly recommend that everyone take driver’s education as a requirement when getting a driver’s license. This would help with high insurance rates and less accidents. Most of all deaths that can be prevented. I feel that there can be many steps taken to reduce the number of deaths when it has to do with driving is for example:

• 10 Year Senior – Driver’s Ed Program, which requires that driver take a volunteer driving test, after the age of 60. This would give Seniors more security when driving and maybe even get a discount from their insurance company.

• Teen Tracker Program, which requires that young drivers have a tracker on their vehicles. This would keep track of their driving record and to see what the teen needs to do to improve their driving.

I have never had an experience of being in car accident, but I seen my friends or family members driving irresponsibly. Yes, I have told them that it isn’t safe. Since I started my driver’s education course, I have been more careful especially because my life and my passengers in my hands. Some steps that I can do to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road is making sure my vehicle is running right. The maintenance is important because this can save a lot of accidents from happening. Another way is for me to stay focus on the road, make sure that I don’t use the phone and make sure my Bluetooth is setup. Make sure to check that everything is in the right place especially if you are going to be driving for long distance.

As a young driver, I am worried that I will be in an accident, but I need to try my best and drive responsibly. I want to get to more locations safely because I know my parents will be worried about me. I don’t want to be in an accident either, but I know that if I am not careful, it may just happen. I feel that the programs that I have shared will help many families, from young drivers to senior drivers. Programs like this can really help insurance companies or life insurance companies as well. With the safety in mind, companies can promote these programs to help their customers continue to be safe. My parents would add the Teen Tracker to my plan, so that they will know how I am driving. My mother is always worried about me, especially because I am still working on getting my driver’s license. I want to make sure that everyone on the road is kept safe, especially if I am driving or someone I love as well.
