Buckle up, and Eyes On the Road, We’re learning about Drivers Safety.

Drivers Safety is one of the most important topics that you need to be learning about as you get older and start driving. Driving can be very dangerous if you are not careful and know the rules. Let’s dive in and learn about how to be safer on the road. Be sure to buckle up, it’s going to be a long ride.

Driving is an essential way of life. People drive everyday to and from work, to and from the grocery store, and more and more places everyday, all day long. The importance of learning driver safety is to ensure that you and others feel safe on the road. As people walk out of their house and get in their car, they want to feel like they can go out and do what they need to do without worrying about whether they will die that day or not. All the laws of the road are put in place to protect everyone from a huge tragedy. The number of deaths in America each year are preventable and uncalled for. When we are about 14-16 years old, there needs to be more requirements met to pass your drivers test because driving around a neighborhood will not teach you as much about the road as you need to know. Neighborhoods are a very small portion of your everyday driving, there is more to learn then just driving and stopping at a stop sign. Driver safety should be taught more and have better and more realistic scenarios for the newer generations, especially when new roads being built are more difficult to drive on due to traffic and new 4 way stop lights. More intense driver safety courses will help teach the newer drivers to be more careful on the road which will eventually lead to lower death rates on the road in the new coming years. We need to make a change before it becomes a huge problem and people will not want to drive anymore and that will impact many companies like gas, gas stations, restaurants, and toll tax collectors. If we do not do something about this, the new generations will be in a driving pandemic and no one will leave their house, and many many businesses and huge corporations will lose money.

Everyday I see people driving irresponsibly and it even makes me nervous to drive because I know that there are many other people that drive even more irresponsible and make driving very dangerous for others on the road. One time I was on a two lane road and there was a car on the other side and 2 cars in front of me. The Car on the other side tried to turn into a neighborhood and did not judge the other car’s speed, so the car on my side of the road hit the side of the other car pretty hard and luckily there was no one on the passenger side, but the airbags popped and the driver was knocked unconscious. The scariest moment of my life, and it makes me sick just seeing other people be in such a rush to risk their own life. Nothing in life is so important that you need to put yourself and others in danger. Like I’ve always said, it’s better to drive safely and be late than put people at risk just to make it in time. Most every car accident and fatalities from car crashes are people just being impatient and not understanding the rules of the road. Many people break the rules all the time and get away with it, but the one time you break a rule and cost another life, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Follow the rules and be careful driving, remember driving is a privilege and you shouldn’t take advantage of it. Be safe!

I drive everyday for many hours due to my job as a doordasher, and I see many things happen, and I learn from other people’s mistakes. I put my life at risk everyday, but I know to be careful and be aware of my surroundings. The way I can become an even more responsible driver, is to always check surroundings and make sure I am paying attention to everyone on the road in case something goes wrong; I know how to avoid getting into an accident. Driving is an important part of my life, so I need to make sure I know how to react quickly and know what the right move is in every scenario. Being safe is very very crucial to driving , so I will make sure to be all in when it comes to driving.

As I conclude this lesson, I hope you learned something new and helped you become a safer driver. Let’s change the world and help the incoming generations become safer drivers. Keep being a responsible driver and be aware of everything going on around you. Be safe, and make sure to buckle up. Thank you for reading!
