Cellphones are
destroying the world?
Drivers ed has warned students of threats on the road and what
signs mean, but is that enough? When people receive a text they
automatically look, or if they hear Snapchat, Instagram, even
Facebook they are tempted to look. Cellphones make the brain react in
a way that drugs like cocaine and weed react. The device has become
an addict to teens and adults alike. I think that phones should be
outlawed on the road, because that is a main cause of accidents. If I
am driving down the road I see at least seven people on their phones
within a thirty-minute drive. My best friend has had his license
revoked for speeding because he was busy on the road texting. The
main issues when driving was he was so engrossed in his phone he did
not see the speed limit sign. I make sure to put my phone on driving
mode so no temptations come from it. I also tell my friends about the
app that makes that possible so they can use the app as well. Phones
are going to keep progressing and I believe that drivers ed
and dmv’s need to advance with technology as well.
