Driveing carfully
Driving not only takes wisdom and experience, It takes great understanding of your environment and its conditions. There are many factors that drivers must take into consideration when driving. Basically drivers must have an understanding of how they’re driving, versus how others drive. An important factor as a safe driver is to remain both aware and alert. To reduce the number of unnecessary casualties when driving It’s important for all drivers to know the rules of the road like the back of their hand. Being able to navigate the rules of the road prevents the risk of crashing significantly. On the other hand you as the driver can’t solely rely on the good driving of others to keep yourself safe. Being able to recognize how things could go wrong at any given moment and reacting in the proper manner will not only save your life, it saves the lives of those in your car as well. Before getting on the road drivers must first meet important requirements that contain the steps to successfully protect themselves on the road. The most important aspect of driving is sobriety and remaining cognisant throughout the duration of your drive being sober both protects you, as the driver, as well as others on the road. New drivers shouldnt be expected to know how to drive immediately after obtaining a license. I believe it’s important for all new drivers to get the proper mixture of practice and real driving experience. This gives them a sense of the kinds of situations they might encounter in a real-world driving situation. As a driver It is everyone’s responsibility to practice proper driving habits; checking mirrors, following signs, and using turn signals are all some of the more important aspects of driving and will save drivers the hassle of ever having to deal with their insurance company. Having had multiple family members get in a car accident, there’s a certain importance to always being alert, having insurance, and never assuming anything about the road or its inhabitants. This will both save you and your family the heartache. I have more personal experience finding out my cousin, who has a lot going for him, got in a crash. Fortunately for him it was just a fender bender and I’m glad there wasn’t any significant damage to him or the car, although the old lady he ran into didnt have insurance causing him to have to pay 1000 out of pocket. The rules of the road are somewhat universal in the sense that paying attention to the signs, always looking at mirrors, and avoiding the in-car distractions are essential to being a responsible driver. There were many times I sat in the passenger seat of a car as the driver who had been a trusted friend became enraged the driver in front who, wasn’t paying attention to the road, and would either stop directly inrount of the car or miss a turn as they took too long to make a decision. In situations like these, being in the position of the passenger I can see the impact being a poor driver has on others on the road. I can also understand the position experienced drivers put poor, and overly careful drivers in when driving. The importance of calmness when driving saves people time and money. In the deadly cost of road rage, an article that provides varying statistics about road rage, they quote the National Highway andTraffic Safety Administration (NHTS), saying,” 2,300 automobile fatalities, one is due to road rage.” Though not common though my experience with road rage I believe the road is much safer when drivers can keep their cool behind the wheel. Through my own experience with negligence, having crashed into a fence many studies show that the majority of car crashes are in fact due to negligence. In an article called Percentage of Car Accidents are Caused by Human Error, quoting the (NHTSA) they find that at the very least there is a 90% chance of human error when finding the cause behind car crashes. Fortunately this doesn’t really narrow down the cause of these human errors as only humans drive cars. This article then goes on to quote the National sleep foundation (NSF) finding that 20% of driver reported falling asleep and 40% say that its happened once in their life. To conclude when driving on any road it is important to always focus on the road, its rules and regulations. Being safe and respectful makes a good driver.
