Why is it important to be safe while driving an automobile? For starters, most students in today’s world are very involved with their phones. As a result of this there are many teens that are distracted while driving. As a result, many students are unfortunate to be in a crash that really hinders their ability than that of before the car wreck. As a result, distracted driving is one of leading causes of death between teenagers and adults because of distracted driving and drunk driving and why to always wear a seatbelt while driving.

Most of the United states have some sort of telephone where they can be constantly active in looking at their phones. This is a massive problem today because many drivers today will look at their phone as a result of getting a notification. Many will often grab their phone out of their pocket, while losing attention from the road causing many to swerve into the opposite lane or even go off the side of the road into grass or even ditches. This can be catastrophic because they could be going around 55 to 65 miles per hour and get into a crash with another car. The force of the two cars would be so huge that one of the people that are sitting in the front seat without a seatbelt can be ejected from the car and be killed as a result. Or even cars could be going so fast that when people look at their phones that they will go off the side of the road going into a ditch or try to correct their car and roll as a result. Moreover, as a result of being distracted while driving could and has led to families losing a loved one because of distracted driving.

Secondly, one of the leading causes of deaths in America that is car related are the causes of both distracted and drunk drivers. While it is not ok for kids to drink at a young age as a result of going to a party, some will think that it is cool for them to drive home after drinking for hours instead of calling a parent or a sibling who is not impaired to come pick them up. Many students of school over the last 20 years have lost their lives because of drunk driving by themselves or riding along with someone who has been drinking. The result of drinking can be described as not being able to function properly. Often those who drink can be described to be dizzy, or even to a point where it seems like the world is spinning and it causes them to not be able to see straight, often causing them to swerve while driving. Because of this many have been in a car wreck as a result of swerving into a car while being drunk. Moreover, drunk driving is not ok for students and even adults as it is one of the leading causes of death in today’s world.

Finally, while driving it is always important for a driver to be safe while they are behind the wheel. Many who drive often drive with a group of friends or people. This is because they have to take family or friends to other places to have fun. While cars have many features to help reduce the force of a wreck, some measures are not met by the riders in the car. One safety feature that is found in cars is a seatbelt. It is important to wear this because during a wreck the seatbelt will not allow a person to be sent flying inside the car. Those without it are often ejected from the car. Also, if it’s not a fast car wreck there is always a force that when a car comes to a sudden stop it pushes the passengers forward often making them smash their faces into the dash or the seat in front of them. Another safety feature is that they make the cab of the vehicle stronger than most parts of the car. This is because if the car were to flip as a result of the crash it would keep the car from collapsing into the passengers while being upside down. Another safety feature that most cars have that most people don’t take into consideration is that the car has crumple zones that will fold in itself in order to observe some of the impact from a collision by taking away some of the force of the collision. Furthermore, most cars have a bunch of safety features set into them in order to protect the passengers as much as possible in case of a collision.

Moreover, as a result most people who own a car need to be informed about how the car works inorder to understand why car safety is important every day because of the accidents that could happen. This is because of distracted driving or even drunk driving and as a result of so many crashes that have happened. The safety features that have been put into cars in order to protect the driver and their passengers.
