Drivers have a responsibility to maintain caution and be accountable when in a vehicle. Driver education is a course that a person takes to gain information, techniques, safety precautions, and regulations regarding the law when driving a vehicle. For a young adult a license is an important part of growing up and reaching adulthood. Throughout highschool, my parents always preached how a license is a privilege and a responsibility. The importance of a driver education is to obtain accurate information, emphasizies the consequences of lacking responsibility, and introduces new drivers with enlightenment.
Obtaining driver education could inform drivers and prevent deaths. For example, utlizing the information provides the driver with knowledge on how to proceed when introduced with bad weather or a highway. Allowing a driver to gain an understanding of how to take precaution is a crucial part in driver education. For instance, drivers need to comprehend the reality and the results of driving while intoxicated or unaware. Being intoxicated while controlling a vehicle can cause extreme damage and endanger the life of others and yourself. Driver education can emphasize to new drivers the consequences of driving unfocused. In detail, being distracted will most likely increase the chances of an accident occuring. Imagine a vehicle on the opposite side approaching your car and a phone rings. Tragic accidents happen due to distractions and being unaware; as a result, a driver education could alert new drivers to be responsible and to proceed with caution. Driver education would offer the new drivers to gain knowledge when driving and create wise students. Every information obtained would potentially contribute to the increasement of lives and prevent any casualties.
Overall, a driver education is essential to save many lives and educate thousands of people. The importance of a driver education can reduce the number of deaths in a year. Tony Robbins, an american author, once quoted “One reason people succeed is that they have knowledge other people don’t.”
