The Last Fifteen Minutes Of The Spa 24 Is All That Mattered

What a pass it was. Man, just the perfect measured set up to a perfect measured pass. Pier Guidi is a veteran of this sport, and his talent level in low-grip situations really shows. Obviously there are setup differences and chassis differences at play here between the Audi and the Ferrari, as we don’t know exactly how the cars were prepped, but it’s fair to say that top level drivers from top level teams put it all on the line and played it perfectly. Alessandro had the pace and made it stick without so much as a breath of contact or a tiptoe over the “track limits” line. Great respectful racing to determine a top-tier race win. I’ll remember this one for years to come.

Red Bull Set A Dangerous Precedent Demanding Competitors Pay For Crash Damage

Red Bull Set A Dangerous Precedent Demanding Competitors Pay For Crash Damage

AdvertisementBut I think even this take on the matter is slightly short sighted. The cost cap is good, and teams just need to learn to work within their budgets. If the cost cap means spending less on some other aspect of the program to keep a little wiggle room in the budget for accidental damage, so be it. The whole point is to

“Schumacher” documentary coming to Netflix Sept. 15

“Schumacher” documentary coming to Netflix Sept. 15

A new documentary airing on Netflix will tell the story of history’s greatest Formula One driver: Michael Schumacher.
The “Schumacher” documentary is set for release on September 15 and has the full blessing of the racing legend’s family, several members of whom will feature. They are thought to include wife Corrina, father Rolf, and children Gina-Maria and Mick.
And while the documentary will highlight the fighting spirit and strive for perfection that Schumacher is highly regarded for, it will also reveal the self-doubt and insecurities that he, like any person, also faced.
For Schumacher fans, it will provide never-before-seen footage of the former racer, on and off the track. And while it isn’t expected to focus on his life after the 2013 skiing accident, it’s rumored there may be some footage of Schumacher’s 50th birthday celebration held in 2019 at his home in Switzerland. If so, it would be the first glimpse we’ve received of Schumacher following his debilitating accident.
Schumacher is the second most decorated F1 driver, with 91 Grand Prix wins and seven championship titles. Six of the titles were for Ferrari between 1996 and 2006. Son Mick has since followed in his father’s footsteps, having started racing in F1 this year with Haas.
