Education helps drivers to know how to safely handle situations that
are, or can be stressful while in a car. Whether the stress is a
slick street after it rains, or loud talking from your friends and
family, drivers ed helps you to know to stay focused on the
road and stay calm. Many accidents happen when you get off focus,
like looking at your phone, or seeing what is happening on the side
of the road. To stay safe while driving you have to always pay
attention. Making sure phones are out of sight while driving is a
good way to stay focused. Also make sure that before you start the
car all seatbelts are on and the radio, if on, is at a tolerable
level. Another important factor is while driving in bad weather to
make sure the lights on the car are on properly. I’ve experienced a
lot of irresponsible driving during bad weather. I noticed that when
they don’t have their lights set properly it was a lot harder to
see the road. To help others become safer drivers remind them to not
use their phones while driving, and put on seat belts. Also try you r
best to keep from distracting the driver. Random loud noises and
bright flashes can be really distracting. So to make sure everyone is
a safe driver remind your friends and have them remind yourself as
well.
