One fact is always
true. Texting and driving is never safe. The education of vehicle
safety is very important in our world today. Especially to the new
young drivers, who have grown up with cell phones. To reduce these
death rates these inexperienced drivers need to be informed of the
dangers of texting and driving. I once was involved in a car accident
while my parents were driving. A driver ran through a stop sign
because she was to engrossed in her phone to watch the road. I have
also seen the flip side of this. When my aunt was driving she
constantly would look at her phone. Luckily we did not get in an
accident, but she still put everyone in the car in danger. Now that
my mom has seen the dangers of texting and driving she will have me
respond to her texts when I am in the passenger’s seat. I think more
safety cautions should be put in place. I think there should be an
app that stops alerts on everyone’s phones while you are driving.
This could prevent so many deaths and car accidents from happening.
It will also make people more aware of this crisis that is occurring
and will continue to occur in the future.
