Driver
education is so important because we teach the inexperienced drivers
to drive more carefully. A lot of car accidents can result from a
number of reasons; texting, intoxication of alcohol, sleep
deprivation, etc. Drivers ed can also teach the importance of
not only driving for yourself but for others around you as well.

The
necessary steps to reduce the number of deaths related to driving
would be to enforce Drivers ed is so important because we teach
the inexperienced drivers to drive more carefully. Technology is also
advancing and there are apps on cell phones to reduce deaths while
driving. Yes technology is good to have, but it can only do so much.
Also, car accidents can result from a number of reasons; texting,
intoxication of alcohol, sleep deprivation, etc. Drivers ed can
also teach the importance of not only driving for yourself but for
others around you as well. The necessary steps to reduce the number
of deaths related to driving would be to enforce stricter laws and to
create an option for teens/adults to prevent them from being on their
phones until your device knows you’re not driving.

I
have been in an accident before and it was scary because I could’ve
lost my life or the other individual in the other vehicle. Still, I
see others drive irresponsibly and most of the time, their phone is
in their hand. Steps I can take to become a better/safer driver,
would be watching my surroundings more, driving more cautious, and
keeping my phone put away. strict laws and to create an option for
teens/adults to prevent them from being on their phones until your
device knows you’re not driving. I have been in an accident before
and it was scary because I could’ve lost my life or the other
individual in the other vehicle. Since then, I’ve taken more
precautions and I make sure I am increasing my distance. Steps I can
take to become a better/safer driver, would be watching my
surroundings more carefully, driving more cautiously, and keeping my
phone put away.
