Importance of Being a Safe Driver
The importance of
drivers ed is to help reduce the number of deaths. That is
because once they learn what can all happen on the road, then they
can prepare themselves so when they see a certain situation they will
know what to do or avoid it. Also, knowing what can happen on the
road can make them think about the decisions that they will do when
they are behind the wheel. Some steps that could be taken is to keep
doing behind the wheel, but when they go out behind the wheel they
should go into different environments like a city or the countryside.
So, then they would have different experiences driving in these
areas. I have gotten close to being in a car accident because of an
irresponsible driver. They were not paying attention and didn’t
realize that they had a red light, but they proceed to keep driving
and almost hit me. Also I have seen accidents happen, especially in
the winter. One day I was driving home and the truck in front of me
came to a complete stop because he almost missed his turn so all the
cars behind me all stopped, but this one car stopped and just kept
sliding and wiped out into the ditch. The road was very icy that day
and my car also slid when I was breaking but that one person could
not control their car. One step to become a better and safer driver
is to take classes that are available to you that put you in a
certain situation and you can practice what to do in that situation.
