Importance of drivers education

Drivers education helps drivers on every stage of driving, the more educated the driver is the safer the driver is. It helps prepare them for real world problems they will run into on the road. Such as passing cars, who goes first on in an intersection without a traffic light, what you do when there Is road work. Many accidents can be prevented such as mine. Educating people more on driving there will be less accidents per year and overall death toll. I think we can improve on educating more people on road conditions and how to drive in them with practice because just telling someone is not enough, they need to be in a car doing it so they know how it feels. I also think that we should inform people on consequences you have if you do not die in a crash and survive like I did how much money it will cost, what happens to their license and how hard it is to get it back or for how long it’s gone for not to mention you probably will get hurt and even if its small you probably will be sore for a little bit but form my experience it was 300 dollars stepping in the ambulance siting down doing a basic physical and asking a few questions and then I got out. That was the least expensive thing I had to pay for. The tow truck for 15 mins down the road was 500 dollars. Not to mention my car was totaled and that was the only way I was getting to work and still had work the next day. So, I needed to find a ride. The accident I got in was me coming home from work and I fell asleep at the wheel and ran into 140 feet of guard rail on a corner where the ledge was very steep and there was a lot of trees.me running into the guard rail literally saved my life. My car was totaled and I over all lost 2 thousand dollars and my license, I just got back in the past week after multiple calls to the DMV to get to the right people and then it went pretty smoothly. I learned a lot from my accident not only how expensive things are but also how I can be a better driver and more responsible. Never drive tired and be more aware of my cars condition and take necessary precautions while driving in the weather. I think if we as a society express how dangerous cars can be and how much it impacts everyone. We would be able to educate more people about the dangers there are, we would have less car accidents and deaths related to car accidents. I feel like the more we can educate people on every aspect of driving the more rounded the driver will be and the safer it is for them and the safer it is for everyone else on the road with them.
