Driving has become very dangerous. Many people have lost their lives to irresponsible driving. Driver’s education can help create responsibility and awareness. People may be reckless drivers and not know so. Education can help those who are not informed about the importance of safe driving. Driver’s education can also help to teach patience. In my 2 years of driving Experience, I have learned that many individuals do not have patience. Patience is a huge factor when it comes to driving. When people drive with anger, are in rush, and eager to be on their phones with no patience, it can cause a lot of accidents. I have personally witnessed people nearly getting into accidents because they lack patience. They are in a rush to do something or get somewhere. Many have gotten into serious accidents because of their lost their patience. When you’re impatient you do no pay attention to others or the road. Don’t wait last minute to prepare for a drive and don’t be so eager to check your phone. I believe that it is also important to educate drivers about drinking and driving. Drunk driving is one of the most dangerous things to do. It was of the leading issues of fatal accidents. People need to be more responsible when it comes to drinking. Getting behind the wheel while intoxicated with any alcohol or drug is thoughtless. You can kill yourself and others when you drive intoxicated. There needs to be more intense education on drinking and driving. People need to also pay more attention while driving and obey traffic laws. For instance, I went driving recently and within a matter of two minutes a small car and a huge truck were next to me and crossed over to my lane. It was very terrifying because our cars were close to collisions. These two other vehicles were in a rush and we’re not paying attention to other vehicles. I was about 5 seconds away from getting to a car pileup. These drivers were being reckless and irresponsible. Driver’s education is also a great way to inform others of their wrongdoings. Many people do not understand how severe their actions are when it comes to driving. I know a number of people who are not careful drivers. I have a cousin who is a very emotional and reckless driver. And over the years of his driving, he has been in over half a dozen accidents and has nearly gotten into more. My cousin is an emotional driver. I believe when driving with bad emotions, you become anxious and impatient, and it might cause an accident. Being in the car with this family member does make me very concerned. Driver’s educations would teach the very well about emotionless driving and road rage. I was also in a car accident when I was a child. A huge SUV was driving in the wrong direction and hit the side of my mother’s car. The driver was in a rush and was willing to break the law to get where she wanted to go. In doing so, she wrecked her vehicle and someone else’s. If she was being more thoughtful of the law and the people around her, the collision would have never occurred. Being well-organized before going on a drive is important. Creating a safe route and planning ahead is the most responsible thing to do before driving. Sometimes if you are unaware of where you’re going, it will interfere with your ability to drive and you will make mistakes. Paying attention to other drivers and road signs is critical. The driving environment would be much safer with these tactics.
