Safety of Driving

The accidents that occur everyday are usually ones that could have been very easily avoided and are caused by someone who made a silly slip up. These accidents can either be very minor or end up with people being completely disabled or possibly dead. The information already given has shown how many deaths are occurring because of these irresponsible drivers

The importance of gaining a good education while driving will show you what is right and wrong while being on the road. Driver ed for example walks you through the things you should do while driving to keep you and anyone else in the car safe while also informing you of the dangerous things that could cause an accident. Steps that could be taken to reduce accidents is more children taking drivers ed so that they can learn in a stricter setting rather than a more relaxed one with family. Personally, I find that many of the people I have driven with that did not take drivers ed drive in a much less cautious way and a very unsafe way as well. They not only have put themselves in danger while driving but also other peoples lives and these unsafe habits have been strongly discouraged by not only myself but also others that have taken drivers ed. Steps that have been taken to ensure that not only I am a safe driver but also people close to me are having rules for in the car, rules such as having your phone on do not disturb while you are in the process of driving. Another one is that the driver cannot eat or drink while driving because it will take their focus on the road where it should be. Finally one of the biggest rules is that if the driver ever feels that they are having a hard time driving if that means falling asleep or feeling dizzy, anything such as that then they need to inform everyone in the car so they can pull over and somebody else can take over while they rest. These rules have helped to ensure the safe driving of not only myself but also the people close to me.

Safe driving when encouraged by one person takes a domino effect and turns into many people encouraging many others to stay safe on the road. With all of these people encouraging safe driving and sharing information of what could happen when one is not a safe driver could make the future generations safer and better drivers.
