Safe Roads,Safe Place,Safe People

Safe Roads,Safe Place,Safe People

The road is a scary place to most people and that is because it is made to be a dangerous place due to irresponsible driving or ignorance of road knowledge. The older generation of drivers are oblivious to some of the new rules and can think they can bend the rules when driving which then can lead into an accident. Teens or young adults who haven’t been to driver’s school or took driver’s education can also be a danger to anyone and themselves.

Diver’s education is important for every driver. It lays out the rules, basics and the techniques of driving. If most people took driver’s ed, they would then realise that they were a potential danger to the citizens of our country and to themselves. To the teenagers who find this class very monotonous and doltish, take this class it is very vital to you as a future driver.

In order for people to make sure that they are safe on the road they must take precautions such as: putting on seatbelts, staying in your lane, stay two cars apart,no speeding, don’t cut people off, be patient and simply be aware of your surroundings. If people did this more often there wouldn’t be as many driver casualties as there are today.

Both of my parents were very mature drivers, but there would be some instances when we would be driving and we would almost get hit by a derelict driver. They would be looking at their phone or looking in some other direction away from the road.Sometimes, the drivers would try to cut my parents off or they would be speeding and almost T-bone us.These were scary experiences for me.There were times a family friend would be speeding an almost hit someone or run a stoplight almost causing an accident. Some of my family members have been in accidents. My own mom has been in a detrimental accident that could have taken her life, but it left her with life long pain. If the driver would have obeyed the stop sign she would have never been in that accident. My grandfather was killed by a drunk driver recently. This could have been avoided if the driver was being safe and called a driver or not have gotten on the road at all.He would still be here………with me.This how dangerous, blithe driving affected my life.

As a soon to be driver on the road,I will take all precautions on the road.My seatbelt will be, I will be aware of my surroundings,I will obey all traffic and road signs and if I am drowsy, medicated or intoxicated I will NOT get behind the wheel. If I see a friend or family member who is drunk I will make sure I find them a ride home or I myself will drive them home.If a family member of mine is underage and don’t have a license,I will suggest to them taking driving classes so they can legally drive. If I am in the car with someone who is speeding I will let them now to slow down.I will constantly remind myself and others to be safe and responsible on the road. It is our job to mae sure that we have safe roads, so it can be a safe place, so our people can be safe.
