The importance of us having driver’s education is so that we are aware of things that do happen on the road or highway. They prepare us situations and guide/inform us on the steps we can take to be safe in that situation, but driver that do take driver education are teenagers and minors. Although teenagers do drive around I believe that the adults in the society we live should retake the course so they know what not to do so they can be better drivers themselves.

In the specific area I live in the people that do drive are adults weather they are young adults like in their 20s or older adults they are the main ones driving and they are the ones who do get into car accidents the most, not really so much teenagers. These adults are either rushing, don’t care, not paying attention, on their phones, etc. Which isn’t’ safe what so ever. The steps that should be taken in order to reduce the number of death would be to look into the background and records of the individuals who have been in a car accident or any individuals who have been in car related issues on the road because these people are the people and they are the reason for car incidents; weather they weren’t paying attention or whatever the case may be.

I have not had a family member or even a friend of mine be in a car accident but I have seen and witnessed people driving right in front of me or beside me be in a car accident due to somebody lack of being careful. One driver I witnessed almost got into a bad car accident because someone decided to run a red light and they were speeding and almost hit the person in front of me. Another incident well almost incident was with me. A driver hit me in the front of my car in a parking lot because she wasn’t paying attention even when I honked my horn and yelled so she could hear me she still hit me in front of my car, but I am thankful it wasn’t any real damages to my car. We should hold people accountable and I feel like they need to have some kind of consequences to their actions but their recklessness is going to cost someone their life. They need to start obeying the laws more and be a lot more considerate for the people that are around them.
