Drivers’ Education is extremely important. Educating new drivers on driving responsibly makes the roads a safer place. Bringing up a new generation of safer, more responsible drivers, creates a safer environment on the roads.

I have been in an accident before. I was heading out of a parking lot and needed to cross traffic, the woman in front of me waved me on but I couldn’t see traffic coming from the other side. I hit another car and had my bumper torn off. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I’ve seen plenty of people post on their stories about them drinking and driving. I’ve seen people texting and driving several times. Driving recklessly doesn’t benefit anyone and only creates more problems and accidents.

I have taken several steps to create a safer environment for my passengers and I while on the road. I have started turning my phone on do not disturb while driving, I’ve created a playlist to minimize distractions, and I have continued to watch my speed. There are several ways to create a safer driving environment for others and ourselves, it just takes work.
