Education about driving is very important. Driving is dangerous and if someone is driving and is not educated about it, that makes it more dangerous. A reason for this is they might not know the consequences of being distracted while driving because they are not educated about driving. When you are driving you have to be aware of everything. You are responsible for making sure you are educated about driving. You have to watch for other people, other cars, and all of your surroundings. Being educated before you drive is so important.

One reason why people should be educated before they drive is that it can reduce the number of deaths related to driving. If someone gets behind the wheel and they do not know the consequences of drunk driving for example and they get into an accident, they could harm someone or themselves. If someone was educated about driving and happened to be drinking as well, they could ask a friend to drive them home because they know the consequences of drunk driving. No, I have not been in a car accident nor have I seen friends or family drive irresponsibly but I do know that driving while distracted is dangerous. Therefore, you should be educated about driving before you get behind the wheel. There are so many things you have to watch for when driving and if you add a distraction while driving, that makes it so much more dangerous. If you are distracted behind the wheel, it makes the situation dangerous for you and others. You should be focused on the road while driving.

Some steps you can take to become a safe driver to protect you and others would be to make sure you take driving school. If you are under 18 when getting your driver’s license they require you to take driving school. In driving school, they teach you to drive a car and also how to be safe while driving. They teach you important information that can keep you and others safe. Another step you can take to become a safe driver is to make sure that there are no distractions in your vehicle while driving. If you notice that the music’s too loud when driving and it’s distracting, turn it off so it will not be a distraction. Another step you can take to become a safer driver is to make sure your phone is away. Many people go on their phones while driving which causes many accidents and harms many people. Make sure your phone is away and silent so it will not be a distraction. By following these steps, they will lead you to become a safer driver. Therefore, it will keep you and others safer.
