Importance of Driver’s Education

There are about 16,438 car crashes in just a single day! Out of those car crashes, 3,287 turn out to be deaths, meaning there are nearly 1.25 million deaths from car accidents in just one year! Drivers education should definitely be considered one of the most important things for us, especially for teenagers. Getting our driver’s license is a huge thing for us but it’s not something a lot of teens take seriously. Especially now that we are able to take the permit tests online, a lot of them cheat just to get it! Teens who cheat on their tests aren’t learning anything, which puts not only them, but everyone else in danger. It’s important to know the rules and exactly how to drive for everyone’s safety. There are a lot of careless drivers, but if we at least try to drive safely ourselves, we can reduce the amount of crashes, maybe even deaths a day! In order to reduce the number of deaths, it’s important to learn how to drive and learn the rules of the place you live in. I think we could also help others by making them aware of the amount of deaths there are. If they were aware of the crazy numbers, they would be a lot more cautious when driving to prevent that from happening to them. I was actually in a minor accident when I first started driving; I barely had my permit. I was moving to the left lane and didn’t see the car right besides me so I ended up hitting them. I think to prevent this from happening, I should have been paying a lot more attention and applying what I learned before while I was driving. I should have checked more carefully and not been so careless about it. Being careless is actually a huge problem that a lot of us have. We do what we want because we don’t think anything will happen to us, but there definitely is a chance that we could end up hurt. We should definitely tell others to be more cautious when they are driving, and hopefully they listen. The more safe drivers we have, the less accidents we have a day and the safer we are!
