Drivers Educations Essay

Drivers Education was an important part for me, it taught me so many new things that it was so unbelievable. It taught me how to keep control of the vehicle and how to handle traffic maneuvers, it also taught me how to operate a vehicle safely and other safety tips. Some people may think they know how to drive but honestly there are so many things drivers don’t know about driving, that’s why it’s important to go to a driving class or do some research as well. There are so many ways to reduce deaths when driving. One is that you shouldn’t take any alcoholic beverages when driving or any drugs, the solution would be to call an uber or call a friend or family member to pick you up and it’ll save yours and other people’s lives . A second way to reduce accidents while being behind the wheel is when you are feeling extremely exhausted or really sleepy, instead you should get some rest before you start driving, there are many cases where drivers fall asleep and cause tragic accidents. A third way to reduce accidents on the road would be no texting and driving also, don’t put anything on the windshield that may cover your visibility to the road and that gets a lot of drivers distracted and causes many accidents, another way may be to keep children in their car seats depending on their age and make sure to put the child lock on because god forbid a kid opens a door and goes flying and a final way is to always check your car such as your brakes, your headlights, tires, or anything that lights up on the dashboard. Avoid going into big water puddles when it’s raining that causes hydroplaning and you won’t be able to steer, brake or accelerate, hydroplaning just causes the car to get locked. Always remember to always wear your seatbelt for safety but it can also go both ways, it can save you or it can kill you unfortunately. You should also always watch your speed and go your speed limit or also depending on the weather. I know a few friends that drive with only their permit and without an adult that is licensed, that is not being a responsible driver, it’s dangerous and can cause issues with their records . Always remember to keep your distance from other cars because there are crazy drivers out in this world and also don’t overtake any other cars because you may think they are far behind but next thing you know they are right behind you and always remember to check your blind spot that is a big reason why people crash because they don’t see that one car coming to check well remember to turn your head the way you are changing lanes or when turning. When the weather conditions aren’t too great remember to drive slow and keep a farther distance then when weather conditions are good. When you are a starter at driving try to keep it slow and safe, limit your passengers so you won’t get distracted, and also get as much supervised practice driving as possible. Just remember to be a safe and responsible driver so you can save yours and other people’s lives. Drive safe!
