How to Keep Everyone Safe on the Road

In the present day, driving is one of the important skills used by many people. It’s very important how we get to places because we shouldn’t be sitting at home all day doing nothing at all. But first, driving has rules when it comes to this. There are so many reckless drivers around the world. Mainly those perterpators are teenagers and young adults. Sometimes they are just new or maybe they want to try to perform stunts while driving. That’s why driver’s education exists, due to these reasons. We need to educate how the people need to drive correctly to keep them and other drivers safe on the road.

To prevent accidents and death, we need to educate these people how driving is supposed to work. Promoting the idea to pay attention and prevent distracted driving by enforcing and advertising that phones are a big role on distracted driving. Mainly, distracted driving accidents are usually people that text and drive while on the road. You know how many people we lost that are important to our families? Lots of them! So it’s important to pay attention on the road to keep everyone safe. Drunk driving is also an issue too. It’s very dangerous to see a driver who is slurring around like crazy, rising other lives around that driver. It makes sense why the driver slurs around, because the alcohol makes him unconscious. By enforcing rules on alcohol, we need to give bars the amount of restriction time after they take more than one alcohol beverage. Leaving out for a drive after this activity would be very risky and dangerous.

Personally for me, with my or somebody experience with driving. Some of my relatives make some mistakes while driving. Even I myself do make mistakes and it’s very not cool. I’ve witnessed lots of my relatives go higher than the recommended speed limit. I wondered if my teacher said you can’t go over the speed limit. If you do, you would get a fine and that sucks. I sometimes tell my parents to slow down when they drive. They said, “you can go 5 miles above the speed limit” but my teacher kept telling me during driving school, “to never pass the speed limit.” That confuses me the most, it’s like, you are clueless on who is right and who too believe in. When it comes to accidents, I was involved in a very minor accident. When a driver behind us hit our back. I was around 10 years old at that time and I was freaking out.

In conclusion, once again for us to be safer drivers. We need to educate ourselves from driving school before we get our license. We don’t want to fool around like idiots, we would like to respect people on the road. There are certain rules we have to follow to keep each other safe but enforcing the law in this country is a little weak. Not everyone is properly following the rules, and it’s hard for people to accept a loss in the family from car accidents. We should enforce laws that are around us and give a time limit to people who drink alcohol in bars.
