Driver education is important to reduce the numbers of death because to know to do anything you must be educated to make sure you are aware of the possible mistakes and consequences. Also safety is important as I always say it’s better to be safe than sorry. The steps that should be taken to reduce the numbers of deaths related to driving should be putting on your seat belt, if there’s anyone with in the car make sure they have there seat belt on as well, check your mirrors, the doors are locked, see if you want the air or heat on, or want the windows down, if want to listen to music be sure to adjust you radio to your liking, be sure there is nothing in the way of the gear shift or anything around the area of your feet, be sure your bags are in a safe designated spot. The closest car accident I experienced was when I was 12 years old in the backseat with my baby brother next to me in his baby car seat and my mom & auntie were in the front. We were at a stop sign, it was our turn to go and we didn’t see a car coming from the opposite end. We began to cross suddenly. There was a car coming towards us 5 blocks down with the speed 80 mile per hour and was about to specifically hit the back of the car where my brother and I were sitting. All I saw was car lights in the heat of the moment all I could do was close my eyes and gip my sweater on my lap. Another experience I went through was with for a church member of a church I used to go to. She was driving irresponsibly and she had a mental issue at the time but refused to take her medication because she thought nothing was wrong with her. The way she was driving irresponsibly is going over the speed limit, running a red light, and driving on some else property. I was in the back seat of the car experiencing it all.
