The Driver Education Initiative Award: In the Driver’s Seat, is open to current high school and college students. You must submit an essay of no more than 500 words that answers the following questions: What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number deaths as a result of driving? What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving? Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly? What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?
I believe that driving education help reduces the deaths of car crashes because many teens are aware of how to drive properly before driving school. Having the knowledge of how to correctly hand a situation on the road will stick with students. There are awesome videos showing off what could possibly happen if certain things happen on the road.
I think the look twice to save life save many lives during driving because looking twice is important. Many students that are new to driving forget steps because they are so excited to drive.
Yes, I been in a car where others were driving irrepsibly. They were not wearing seat beats or not stopping at red light or stop signs at times.
