There are many drivers on the roads that are very unaware of the dangers and do not realize the very importance of being a safe and educated driver, especially newer drivers. The only thing that helps a newer driver out on the roads is that they have drivers education fresh on their mind. Drivers education is very important when it comes to being safe on the road, it gives all the important details when driving and when parking. Although drivers ed is important to some, it is proven to not be helpful to all young people’s perspective on safety and their driving ability. It most definitely can reduce the number of deaths just by giving out simple safety steps. The overall importance of driver’s education is the mandatory requirement of it before getting a license. It is a great requirement for those who know nothing about the safety of themselves and others while driving.

There are many preventatives that can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving. It can be done by taking drivers education, in-person driving class, supervised driving before having a license, and other tools and instructions taken before driving a vehicle alone. As far as when alone to be safe you don’t text and drive, always watch the road and others, make sure both hands are on the wheel, and maintain very little distractions, etc.. These are very important precautions to keep everyone around you in the safest conditions possible.

I personally have been in the car during an accident and have also witnessed a family member driving irresponsibly. Although it was not the best situation to experience at the time, it has taken me on the safer path as a driver myself. I was very aware of the problems that I witness and it has made me into a much safer driver. I saw the lack of safety in these driving situations and wanted to make sure those did not occur while I was driving for the safety of myself and the safety of others.

Lastly, like previously stated there are always prevatives in trying to keep yourself and others around you safer. You can never be too careful, especially on the roads. On a wider spectrum here is something to think about, when you’re driving on the roads you have your entire life and the lives of others driving in your hands. Driving unsafe can easily cause deaths. You can simplify steps such as being observant, cautious, focused and calm to become a better and safer driver. This will not only be safer for you but those around you. If we all use these steps, then we will all be safer drivers out there.
