Driving has become an essential skill for us as humans to get from point A to point B whether that be to the store or to your job or etc. But of course, with all the car accidents we hear about on the news every day, know that there are risks to driving. There is a way though to lower the death rates for driving accidents and the answer simply is drivers’ education. There you will learn the most necessary information on how to be safe when driving.

Now there a few steps in lowering the death rates due to driving. The first is stopping drinking and driving because a lot of deaths because of driving occur because someone is under the influence. The next step is to stop texting and driving, because every time I drive, I see people on their phones not paying attention to the road. And the last is just all in all just pay attention to the road with no distractions.

I remember one day I was in the car with my mom and she was waiting for the red light to turn green. And out of no one where, someone hit us from behind. Lucky though no one was injured but still to this day I’m always anxious when I am at a red light.

Basically, in order to become a better and safer driver, just be aware of your surroundings, and educate yourself on the rules of the road.
