The Importance of Driver Education

The number of deaths caused by driving has been a problem for a long time ago, especially with young people and teenagers. Not just with young people, anyone can lead to a car accident while driving or to death if not follow the rules while driving or putting themselves out of awareness. Driver education is created in order to give learners more things to be aware of while driving on the road as a driver, providing rules and tips on how to stay connected in order to be safe while driving. Driver education is an example of instructions that people have to follow, rules, and what to do if unexpected experiences occur such as sleepy while driving, control your speed, put away cellphones.

Ways to do to reduce the number of deaths while driving could be stopped when need to stop, stop at a red light and go at a green light, control and follow the speed limit while driving on the road either on the highway, stay away from a cellphone, using a turn signal, stop at stop signs, look for walking people around or bikers, etc. Following these rules while driving can reduce the percent of an accident while driving a lot, be aware of what you are doing while driving. I haven’t got the driver’s license yet but when sitting next to my parents as a passenger, I understand how the rules when driving works and what to do, what not to do when driving to reduce accidents as much as I can. Once I sit with my sister on a way home, she got sleepy while driving at high speed on a highway and It scared me a lot. Not just caring about my sister’s health but also for other people join the road as driver and passenger like me, what I did was telling her to stop on the side of the high way to awake herself a bit before going back to drive, it was the first experience to me ever. Be cautious while driving on the road is a must to get safer when joining as a driver in order to keep safe for yourself but also for the passenger and other drivers. Do not drink while driving, seatbelt while driving, maintain a safe distance, no racing. Every driver should already be trained from the driver education before getting their license to keep their safety for themselves and for others to stay out of accidents. Being a driver on the road is important to keep their lives safety and for children, passengers behind the wheel.
