Drivers Education
Driving can cause fatal situations if people are not paying attention to their surroundings. This is why around the country kids learning how to drive have to take driver education. Driver education is a very important step in reducing the number of deaths on the road. Just taking a class for a month can help teens be less likely to be involved in crashes or to receive a traffic violation for the first two years of driving! This is incredible because the fatality rates are highest when the person is at the age 16 to 18. Driver education saves lives by eductioning kids and adults on how to drive better and make a difference on the road. I am 17 years old and I have never been in a crash or gotten a ticket. I truly believe this is because I learned how to drive in drivers ed and understand how dangerous driving can be. Actions I believe I could take to become a better driver are: understanding how the weather can affect my driving and not distancing people while they are driving. Overall drivers education saves lives and keeps people safe on the road.
