The Guide To Safe Drivers

Each year, 1.25 million people die from car accident incidents on average in the United States. Within these 1.25 million people, the majority of the people included are among the ages 15 to 44. It is scary to think that someone can die in a car accident when their life has not even begun to start. Driver education is the basis of an individual’s safe driving. Driver education not only should teach the basics of driving but real-world essential skills to keep oneself safe the best way possible. Increasing what is taught in driver education courses before one can get a license as far as accident prevention will prevent new drivers, who are more likely to cause accidents because of their lack of experience, to be in accidents. This past summer, I lost my friend to a car accident. Like the average age range, she was 16 years old. It is not known exactly what caused the accident, but the accident was caused by a head-on collision and if the other driver had been driving slower, she would have most likely lived. Since her death, I have paid more attention to the road when I am driving. The impact her death had on our community was tremendous because she had such a bright soul. Since her death, I have paid more attention when I am driving and to those driving around me.
