Welcome to Florida
The pandemic surges up and down, yet people still travel here to partake in the surf and sand. But do you know we have the highest car related crashes? As many people from all over America come to Florida in the winter months to escape the cold, more and more drivers take to the roads.
The specific importance of driver’s education in Florida is key to being a safe and cautious driver. The state of Florida hosts many people from out of state and there are so many in our population who follow road rules differently since, naturally, each state has its own patterns of driving. Driving in Florida really does test your patience and knowledge of the road. Some tend to drive faster and slower which means it is vital you are always paying attention to the cars ahead, beside and behind you.
However, there are many people in Florida who drive under the influence. Due to this reason is why, when obtaining your learners permit in Florida at 15, you must pass not only the normal DMV Exam, but also the Drug and Alcohol Test. This test ensures that when you are driving on the road you not only keep yourself safe, but those around you. In my lifetime of living in Florida I have seen crashes, my family has almost been in one, and up and down the coast car crash stories are on the news. Unfortunately, this cycle of crashes has become normal. It should never be normal.
We need to take driving seriously. Being cautious, keeping a lookout for who is on the road, and not driving under the influence is extremely imperative. Florida would then have more people out living their daily lives instead of families mourning the loss of a loved one.
