Pay Attention in Driving School
Before one may participate in activities with the rest of the world, a foundation of understanding and practice is essential for smooth interaction. One can not throw an individual in a new environment and expect efficiency or even survival. Preparation ensures adequate and prudent responses. Without driver’s education, one can only rely on their own and their parents’ experiences to learn how to operate a vehicle and flow with others on the road. Additionally, it takes responsibility to relay important laws from parents, and with an instructor, one is guaranteed enough information due to a curriculum.
Furthermore, fewer accidents and deaths occur. The most important lesson I learned from Driver’s Education was to avoid panicking and react to prevent other damage from occurring. Further steps to lessen the death count include operating with a coherent mind, knowing your limits, obeying signs and laws, actively taking in observations, maintaining the vehicle, and wearing protective measures (i.e., seatbelt). If I were to panic after my fender bender incident, I could have caused much more damage to myself and other vehicles.
