Drivers ed Initiative 2020: In the Driver’s Seat
An essay that is enjoyable

I personally love to be in the car with full-sounding music. I personally don’t drive, but I do sit in the passenger seat most of the time when my friends are driving. We always listen to very exciting songs, and sometimes we just turn into animals due to the uncontrollable excitement secrets from the wild songs. My friends and I were always listening to those hot songs and finally, there was a time when my friend almost hit an apple tree due to the distraction of music. We were happy that we survived, but at the same time, we realized that we need to come up with a resolution. Because otherwise, we might die listening to Travis Scott on our way to the beach. So, we came up with procedures to fix our bad habits: First, we need to make a playlist before getting into the car, just to make sure that we are not looking at the phone screen to change the songs. Because it’s better to listen to “not good” songs than hitting the guard line with the car and say goodbye to this world. Second, we need to cut out some “too violent” songs that turn us into beasts, because sometimes it’s better to listen to classics with air blowing to your face than a car accident where your face is actually blowing away. Thirdly, we must eat before going to the beach. People might think “what is a meal has to do with driving,” but it is relevant. After all, if we don’t eat before getting into the car, we have to discuss what to eat while driving, and that might lead to the fistfight while driving 60 miles per hour on the street. It’s better to have home food than a fiesta in Heaven. Lastly, just drive responsibly, sometimes the classic works the best. We have to remind ourselves that our irresponsible actions might affect others who are innocent. We might hurt or even kill someone in the car accident, and if the person was part of our family, it will hurt us a lot. So, we just said “alright time to become adults,” and no more driving dangerously,” because by doing it, we can save ourselves and others.
