Driver’s Training over YouTube

Anyone can learn
how to drive; honestly there is probably a YouTube video that can
explain the process step by step. However, going online and watching
a YouTube video cannot replace a driver’s training course. Both
teach the basics of driving- the small pedal is the gas pedal, green
means go, that kind of thing- however, a driver’s training class
ensures that you can drive well before letting you take the road test
and receive your license. The first step to reducing the death toll
due to auto related accidents, is to ensure that people are getting
the proper driving education. A large part of accidents occur because
people do not know the proper steps to take in order to correct
mistakes when driving. If we teach people how to drive correctly,
they are more likely to be safe. Another step we all can take to
reduce death tolls is to keep ourselves accountable. Of course,
people with licenses know how to drive, but that does not necessarily
mean that they are doing so as safely as possible. The final step we
can take in ensuring that people are safe drivers, is to have the
people teaching drivers training courses be trained very highly. When
I took driver’s training If we increased the amount of tickets
given out, it may become incentive for people to drive more
carefully; therefore, reducing the number of auto related deaths.
Personally, I have been in a car for two accidents, both times being
the other driver’s fault. In one of the accidents, we were hit on
the driver’s side and ended up doing a full 360-degree spin in the
middle of the street. All of the windows ended up breaking and all of
the seats were filled with glass; thankfully, no one ended up hurt.
This particular experience is the reason I always try to make sure
that I am being a safe driver. You can’t control what others are
doing on the road, but if we all attempt to be the best drivers we
can be, then we won’t have to fear other drivers. I take a few
steps myself to make sure that I am being a safe driver, since it is
crucial to keep everyone on the roads safe. I always check how fast I
am going and ensure that I am not speeding. My insurance also gives
me a five-dollar gift card every month that I am driving safely,
which gives me more incentive to be safe. To keep the roads a safe
place for travel, everyone must do their part and follow the rules of
the road. It only takes one bad driver to possibly injure someone
else. I am doing my part to make sure that I am not the reason
someone else is injured, something everyone should do.
