Being Informed Can Save A Life

It
is very important to be educated when driving heavy machinery to
reduce the amount of car accidents a year. Learning and memorizing
all road signs and obeying all speed limits can save a life. In 2018,
an estimate of 36,750 people were killed in a car accident in the US-
36,750 too many. Taking drivers ed or attending a traffic school can
reduce the death rate of car accidents, by educating you on what to
do on the road and how to control a car. I have not had friends or
family participating in bad driving habits in front of me, because
they’ve told me they would never show me a bad practice as being okay
or tell me to do it “just once”, because “just once”
is all it takes to end a life. Spreading awareness about driving
safety and driving statistics through social media or public events
can motivate others to participate in driving safer and arriving
alive. To ensure my safety and the safety of others, I would never
drive under the influence or tell anyone to if they’re thinking about
driving home drunk and even during a stressful situation, to never
partake in road rage. Families are impacted each day by victims of
fatal crashes and promoting driving safety and being informed can
potentially save a life.
