More than what it is

Being a pedestrian brings me to constantly look out for my safety on the streets. Whether there is a red light for the drivers, I always look both ways before crossing, besides being a habit it is also never harmful to be extra cautious. Being cautious can even save lives, whether it’s a driver or a pedestrian. It is important for drivers to learn that they, could prevent many fatal deaths by just being more knowledgeable on how to drive.

Drivers ed provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed when driving on the road. It would be dangerous if we were to grab a vehicle without understanding all the driving rules. To prevent accidents all drivers should have a license so show they’re capable and certified as a driver. Also, they should complete all of their driving lessons in order to learn all the traffic laws that must be followed. When on the road they should avoid any distractions such as phones because the call or text can wait.

I only have 16 and about to have 17 and I plan to take driving lessons in the future and have a driver’s license in order to facilitate my mode of transportation. Fortunately, I had never been in a car crash or anything related. However, I did encounter a car crash that occurred in front of my house. I was helping my mother on the house chores when all of a sudden there is a loud crash outside. We quickly look out the window and see a car crashed at the edge of another and quickly move back and drive away from the scene. As soon as the driver left the police were on there way since the driver of the car that got crashed was still there. Apparently, the driver was under the consumption of alcohol that got him to crash. This is why drivers should never drive under the consumption of any drugs and obey traffic rules.

As a future driver, I will obey the traffic laws, be predictable, avoid distractions, drive rested, steer clear of alcohol and drugs. This is something all drivers should follow strictly because it will prevent so many deaths and sad families sobbing for their loved ones.
