Please Use Common Sense While Driving
Driving seems to be a very exciting thing to us when we were kids. Cool cars spanning the eras caught our attention and we couldn’t wait to get our own car. To an inexperienced adolescent, diving appears to be easy, but in actuality it most definitely is not. Driving is a huge privilege. It should not be taken lightly. Your life, your passenger’s lives, and the lives of many around you. The diver must take every precaution he/she can. The driver must stay focused. Limited or no distractions. Phone stays in the driver’s pocket and kept on silent. No distracting music. No friends until the driver is better experienced to handle various information inputs.
Driving requires all of your attention. You cannot be irresponsible. When driving one must keep their eyes on the road. Though some may think that keeping their eyes straight forward is what they need to do, that is false. There are numerous events happening around the driver. Other drivers on the road. Pedestrians. Animals. Road construction and workers. You must keep your eyes darting all around. Use your peripheral vision. Check your mirrors constantly. When you change lanes, double or even triple check your mirrors. Look behind your shoulders multiple to see if anyone is in your blind spot.
Driving is a huge responsibility. You must always use common sense. Think before you act. Drunk driving and driving under the influence of drugs is a major problem in today’s society. Do not drink before driving, or at all really. Do not consume or inject harmful and deadly drugs before driving, or ever because of the dangers. Driving is no joke. Pay attention to everything you see. While I personally have not experienced any car accidents myself, I have heard stories. And while I am not perfect same as everyone else, I keep doing my best to be a safe driver. I use common sense when I drive. I watch and observe what is transpiring around me. I plan ahead of time. I pay attention to how other people are driving around me. I watch their speed in accordance to my speed. Of course I am still learning and have a lot more to learn about driving. But I like to take driving seriously and do my best to keep me, my passengers, and those around me safe. From one cautious driver to another, please use common sense while driving.
