Which distracts from the actual roads. In my state Georgia, it is illegal to text and drive or even talks with a handheld device. In my opinion, this should be a national thing. Because as the years are passing by the death rate for teens killed from texting and driving has gone up. Teens also lose focus when they decide to Snapchat and drive also. Some teens see it is a cool thing to shoot a video while holding a phone in one held and the steering wheel in the other. But this could end up being deadly. When becoming a new driver there should be many precautions taking. Especially for a young driver. because some older people think it is ok to drive slow while on a super interstate and chatting on the phone. That’s why it is important to follow these guides when operating a motor vehicle. First,, of all, we should always wear a seatbelt and making sure everything checks out and correct before pulling off. We should also make sure we have the text and call anyone who was are supposed to be taking off. A good thing to used would be to put your phone on do not disturb which helps me. It silences my text messages as soon as my phone connects to Bluetooth. That way I can focus on my driving. I had my very own experience with driving irresponsibly because I was actually on the way to school one day. And I had my phone on my lap which was a bad idea from the get-go. And it then vibrated from a text from a classmate who asks where I was and I tried to respond. Of course, I was looking down too long and reared a schoolteacher at caution light. Luckily I was going real fast and the teacher just so happens to slam on breaks and we ended up hugging it out. For others and as well as me to become a better driver we have to say focus and not lose track of doing other things while driving. Whether it is turning the radio up, looking for a song on our playlist, or maybe even telling mom we are on the way even when we haven’t even left yet! We have gotten to be safe and take the extra precaution of being a safe responsible driver.
