Driver Safety and Personal Experiences

Drivers ed is important to me because understanding how to
operate a car is the prize component, ensuring driver and passenger
safety is essential in effective driving. Through confidence of
operation, keeping everyone safe on the road reinforces the driver
and passenger(s) safe travels from point A to B being seamless.

To reduce the number of deaths related to driving, the driver can
eliminate distractions such as cell phones within reach and loud
music. The passenger can aid in such with eliminating those
distractions through offering help with directions and ensuring music
is at a respectable volume. Both parties can eliminate distractions
through working together to ensure elimination as well. With that,
the drive is enjoyed thoroughly.

I have been in an accident where I was the middle car in a three deep
rear-end collision. I was hit by a girl not paying attention to how
fast she was going and hit me and pushed my car into the person in
front of me. While she was not distracted, she was not aware of her
speed and proximity to my car. I have witnessed my family driving
irresponsibly as well through speeding, texting while driving, and
not paying close attention to the road through getting excited with
passengers about the destination or the energy in the car in general.

Personally, I can take steps towards eliminating dangerous situations
through getting rid of my cell phone within reach and playing music
at a respectable volume. Watching my speed in certain situations does
aid in making sure that I am being as safe as possible, including my
passengers riding along.
