In the driver’ seat

“OMG, I can’t wait to drive.” Most people don’t realize how dangerous it is to drive. Now days people are scared to even leave their house cause people drive crazy. They scare somebody drives up out of nowhere and hits them. Seeing that happen will ruin their life and they will not forget it. People do not understand kids are in the car and the kids might die because the way the driver was driving. It’s a lot of teenagers right now that can’t wait to drive by themselves and to have their own car. They do not realize when they start driving by themselves, they get out of control. Teenagers these days do not understand the risk of driving. They think it’s fun and that they can go whatever they want. Driving is not easy. Teenagers need to look out for themselves and other people too. Most teenagers are selfish, and they do not care about people around them. They start to drive over the speed limit, start car accidents, also being on their phone while driving. There are 1.6 million car accidents that are caused by texting while driving each year. People think if they text and drive everything will be okay, but it won’t. If someone not paying attention to the road cause they on the phone, then they will end up hitting somebody. Then they will feel bad, and they will have to face the consequences. Driving past the speed limit is worse too. If anyone drives past the speed limit will get a ticket and cause a horrible accident. People be so fast to get to where they are going, they do not care about the people around them driving. Also, a lot of people are racing on the highways and that causes a bad accident. For instance, this girl I use to go to school with was street racing with some boys and they got in a horrible accident. Nobody was not wearing a seat belt and they was driving above the speed limit. The only thing is the girl mom was in the car with her and she did not have a seat belt on. She ended up flying out the car and she eventually died. Her daughter is now in ICU still fighting her life. This is sad because an innocent woman died because her daughter wants to do a street race. People should not die in a car accident. Everybody needs to learn how to drive safe and start looking around at other cars. Especially drinking while driving now that right there is crazy. There are only 10,000 deaths every year caused by drunk driving. Drinking while drinking will cause you to be charged with a felony, depending on the injuring. Anyways you still will be face with thousands of dollars in fine, loss of driving privileges, and jail time. Also, the person you hit badly can sue you and take you to court for damaging or injuries. People do not realize how serious driving is. They do not care about other people around them. People should start taking action for that and stop driving crazy. If you do not know how to drive or have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, then don’t drive at all. Just take a bus or call a uber. If you live in New York, you can take a subway every day. A lot of people are scared to drive now days because people drive crazy. I wish everybody would understand how dangerous it is to drive. For example, my grandma is scared to drive, and she do not like driving on the highway. My grandma has her grandkids and the way she takes the home she must go through the highway. Every time she gets on the highway she starts shaking and she has to take her time. I know the highway you must drive fast, but my grandma she likes to go at her normal speed, which is about 30 mph. She doesn’t like driving fast like everybody else is doing, she is too scared. An elderly person shouldn’t be scared to drive at all. They should feel comfortable and not worrying. In driver’s education they should start teaching these teenagers or anyone how driving is dangerous. Also, showing them videos of different car accidents happening every day, so that they can see why driving is dangerous. That will help drivers feel more comfortable and to reduce deaths. Driver’s education is safe, and it helps you learn the safety of driving. For example, putting on your seat belt, looking at your mirrors, cut out distractions, follow the speed limit, and think safety first. Those are the most important safety ways of driving. Driving can be dangerous, but also make sure you look out for yourself and think about the people around you that is driving.
