Take Driving Seriously!
I took driver’s education my junior year of high school, I studied the rules of the road book, Whenever I’m in a car I analyze the way that they drive, I’m also very skeptical with the people I decide to get in a vehicle with, because I’m well aware of the fact that not everyone is a safe or legal driver. Everyone doesn’t take people’s safety seriously. I’ve noticed that people are also very impatient when driving, they’re also very rude and inconsiderate, which results in accidents occurring very frequently. When driving it takes patience, it takes awareness skills, it takes compliance with the rules of the road, etc. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of people on the road who haven’t studied the rules of the road, haven’t taken a driver’s education class, drives without a license, doesn’t follow any kind of guideline when it comes to driving whatsoever, which leads to horrible wrecks and car accidents that results in people losing their lives. I don’t think people understand how serious they should take driving, especially when it’s something so risky that puts people’s lives at risk. People would just drive just to drive. They don’t really understand the importance of driving. Especially driver’s education. The importance of driver’s education is to make sure that people are proper;y educated about the rules of the road and driving in general. Which would reduce the number of deaths as a result of driving.
Some steps that could be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving is to allow it to be a law to have taken a driver’s education class, take rules of the road tests to see if someone is really knowledgeable about the rules of the road, Or at least a test to see if someone is really a good/safe driver or not. I can gracefully say that I’ve never been in a car accident, But I have seen some of my family members drive irresponsibly, And it would scare me, because I really would feel like I’m either going to get badly injured or I’m going to become deceased. It’s that scary! And it shouldn’t be! Everyone should drive responsibly, but everyone doesn’t. I currently only have my permit, But I did take driver’s education online during my junior year of high school. During my junior and senior year of high school I was really studying the rules of the road book, I would analyze how my parents and my other family members would drive, And I would also do my own research online as well. I have always been serious about not only being a good driver, But a safe driver. At a young age I understood the importance of being a safe driver. I care about my life as well as other people’s lives. I care about other people’s safety just as much as I care about my own, so I never wanted to be a reckless driver. Causing someone to have a bad wreck or to possibly take someone’s life over my impatience or my lack of safe driving skills. I just can’t be the one to have that kind of stuff on my conscience.
My older brother’s father passed away in 2018 due to the result of speeding while driving. He was also driving under the influence. This is another reason why there are so many deaths when driving, because there are people who would rather drive under the influence than to drive sober. A sober mind keeps lives safe. An unsober mind brings danger to people’s lives. Everyone just follows their own rules when driving by breaking the actual rules of the road. And that’s what’s causing so many deaths now. People don’t understand that. Or maybe they do and they just don’t care, which is worse. I will never understand how people could be so careless with other people’s lives especially when it’s something that could put their own life/safety in jeopardy. That’s why I’m not in a rush to get my license. I would rather wait until I feel really ready to really get out on the road. Even when I had my permit I wasn’t on the road. I want to be someone who drives legally with their license when really prepared to get out on the road, I’m all about safety. Since I knew I wasn’t 100% ready to get on the road, I didn’t. I take driving really seriously. And I think everyone else should take driving seriously!
