What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?
I believe the importance about the education is they’re trying to give us a lesson in how to save the life people, because education can save many times, differents ways, different reason why education is the mostly important for us to focus, knowing what’s the dangerous, what we can avoid, and so many things that education will teach us which is wonderful. I think education is based on logic and knowledge to avoid mistakes. Driver education will be beneficial for all the students, it allows them to understand the rules, allow to know the system how actually works, and why is matter to follow the rules which some people doesn’t know, or some people already knew but they do it anyway, or they just break rules just for “fun”. That’s why makes sense for all High School have class Driving Education, and I learned a lot stuff, and I could say the signal, and the rules I didn’t know about those which is surprises me.
What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
I believe the most thing I’m surprised is that I think most of people doesn’t take too seriously about the seatbelt because they probably are thinking they drive very well, always following the rules, etc… They have reasoning, but I think it is kind of silly to break these simple rules because you might never know what will happen in your future, and your destiny. There’s some people who don’t realize that the future will impact us, there’s some people who are actually drinking while driving, or some people are escaping from the prison, and many random things can happen to our life which also lead to the death rate for not putting the beatsealt. The other number also can happen, if some people are drinking in their way just because they feel good, or just recently had the party or any reason, people don’t take things seriously about the consequences that will lead to their life and our life.
And lastly, I think this happens to all the people who decide to break the rules, it might not happen with bad accidents, but it will lead to the problem with the cop. The possibility it also can lead to having crash accidents which I saw in some of those situations in real life which surprises me because they’re adults. Why are they doing this? Is just sad to see them deciding to break the rules.
Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?
Personally, I’m very happy to not get any problem involving those accidents, but honestly yes I have seen someone driving irresponsibly which I kind of expected because honestly I believe they don’t have patience, or just they’re in a hurry. Yes, my friends, and my family. I’m not ashamed to also tell the family members which I’m kind of surprised about, and I always told them to wait, or be patient but they ignore all my advice or anything. I’m happy that I’m not driving personally, I just wish they can understand why it matters to hear my advice, why they need to improve their patience, and why it is so important to follow the rules to never happen. Even if it is a little mistake or a little “accident” it is still a problem for everyone.
What steps can you take to be a better and safer driver as well as help others become safer on the road?
I think what we need to remember forever is just the seatbelt. That’s the only matter for me, but also the matter is the people if they follow the rules very well, and not breaking the rules, we’ll probably somehow reduce the death rate. Also the most realistic is just remember what action you will do, because if someone has own car, and you drive for the party, you need to stay alert with drinking because alcohol makes you feel overconfident with driving, or might lead to dizziness which is not good for visuals. And I will also add the actions, when you’re totally sober, but you get impatient, or you want to decide to break rules because there’s no one on the street. Sadly, something will happen very wrong, which we don’t want to assume will be okay, or no matter how good you’re driving, or checking to make sure no one is there, there will always be something coming up unexpectedly. And lastly, I think it would be better if the school invite to someone who has experience with bad driving, or someone who has already bad accident on driving, so they can show the evidences why focusing, or taking serious matter about driving, why is so important to follow, why is not okay doing this, and seeing how they’re explaining they will realize their action is not okay. Like leaving paralyzed, possibly losing an arm, or anything pretty bad could happen when driving breaking rules.
