Drive Safe Kids

To start off, driver’s ed can save many teenager’s life It depends on many factors of why the teenager may or may not have taken the class. There is approximately 35,000 deaths in 2012 from car accidents in the freeway. In order to, help the communities who have lost a loved one take the driver’s ed class to help those who have lost a loved one, so that you don’t end up being the next victim.

The importance of drivers can limit the number of teen deaths the U.S. has in a year. For example, having the students understand what to do in a situation if something bad occurs. Having this information will help the students have a better understanding of road safety. Drivers ed is avialable in many states and at many different cost supporting those who made need the help. So don’t be afraid or embarrassed to dip your toes in a safety class because nobody is going to judge you for trying to keep the roads a safe place. Another step toward being a better driver could just be letting the young teens that just received their learner drive, meaning some parents will have to back off because they are afraid of their kids driving. They will not get the experience they need if they are in thepassenger seat, the learners always need to be behind the wheel. Kids need to stop shying away from driving, if they do wants to drive don´t get their licenses and let their parents take them for the rest of their life. Parents can also the limit the distractions a kid may have when driving. They can take their phone and even control the music by leting the kid tell you what song or playlist they would like to listen to.

Speaking from experience, I don’t like wrecks. They scare me, I’ve been in a total of three wrecks. Granted only 1 of them were considered my moms fault. Most of the wrecks have been due to a teenage on their phone not paying attention, another one due to a kid not paying any attention to the stop sign. And then the last was because my mom didn’t see the cars infront of her braking at last second. Being in a wreck can cause many damages one being the fact that they can literally kill you, give you brain damage and so much more. Why risk death when all you have to do is be aware and drive safe when on the road. Perfoming saftey precaution can help with everything when you hands go behind the wheel. Looking up is the biggest problem most kids have because they are distracted by something. Being on their phone and the raido is probably the most distracting thing for student drivers because they are always wanting to be in the know. Well sometimes you can’t be in the know if it is going to hurt others and yourself.

For me personally as a driver I can put my phone face down someone to the point I can’t see any notifications, or I can hook it up to my radio to were it would it to me. Allowing to keep both hands on the wheel at all times. I can put on the playlist I’m feeling the most allowing me to not be distracted by trying to figure out what song or playlist I should listen to first. Kids are distracted by the passengers that are sitting next to them as well. So before I start driving I will set ground rules, no hitting or touching the driver in that sense that will distract me or require me as the driver to take my hands of the wheel. This causes a danger to not only me but the passagner in the car as well. I will also look at the safest way to get to my destination before driving because I want to limit the chances of getting in a wreck the most.

So to all the beginner drivers or the people already driving please stay safe on the roads. Do everything that you can due in order to stay safe on the roads so that lives can be saved and families don’t have to suffer. Take drivers ed to improve your knowledge about driving, and how to be extra carefull about the other cars travelling by. Don’t be the next victim and drive unsafe allowing others to be in perfect risk of their life. Trust kids or familiy member that they can get the job done by driving you to placed as safely as possible.
