But I believe that is not entirely their fault I think that the drivers that have much more experience should be wary of how the newer drivers are going to act on the road and their out-of-pocket moves. That’s where drivers education comes in handy it has been shown that drivers that know driver’s education reduce the risks of accidents occurring if every driver on the road really understood and took drivers education seriously then the number of accidents on the road would decrease significantly, and it would encourage others to learn how to drive because then they would not fear getting involved in an accident or causing problems on the road. Some of the steps that could be taken to reduce the number of deaths in driving would be using your seatbelt every one in the car should use it not only the front seat passengers according to crash states 90.4% of adult front seat drivers use their seatbelts which is something that helps prevent the cause of death during an accident, in Colorado back seat drivers are not required to wear their seatbelt, I believe that builds a bad habit and if there was an accident then the back seat passengers could get severely injured. Being more firm with drunk drivers helps reduce the number of deaths as of 2020 about 622 fatalities happened from drunk drivers so if we become more strict with driving under the influence it could help bring down the number of deaths occurring in accidents drastically. a lot of deaths occur from road rage according to the zebra a total of 12,610 injuries happened on the road because of road rage and 218 murders occurred because of road rage, if drivers were not so violent and had a bit more patience then a lot of lives could be saved including theirs. I have a permit and so I am on the street trying to get the hang of how to drive. There was this one time when I was driving with my father and this one person was trying to turn into a neighborhood they knew that if an accident occurred during that moment would have been their fault because the light was green for me and they were in the middle of the street I remember having to move my foot really fast in order to stop the car and prevent a collision and thankfully it stopped in time but that was one of the times that I witnessed someone drive recklessly and being very impatient. Another time my father was involved in an impactful accident his car was first hit by a mini car then they were hit by a truck, that was a time that I was very worried because it was something serious and it demonstrated to me the consequences of not being wary on the road and how it could start a train of accidents, it also showed me the responsibility that comes with driving and the effects that you could have on people’s lives and the damage you could cause. One of the ways to be safer on the road is to follow the book driving is something that you need to know the rules for and follow and if you don’t then things could get ugly really fast, also to acknowledge the risks and be cautious of your actions because being the driver does not only put yourself in danger but the people around you as well. You should be fully awake and have the energy to drive, a lot of people say their coping mechanism is to drive once they are upset or overwhelmed, and that is something that you would not do because you are not so aware of your actions once you are feeling a strong emotion. To be safe on the road you have to be in the right mind and body to be considerate and cautious that is a way to help save lives.
