The Only Danger
is Yourself

Driving is
something most people want to achieve in their life, as it’s
literally an easier way of traveling the world than rather walking.
However to attain such a power, would also require such a
responsibility as well. Because one you get in that car, anything is
possible. For example, you could have a simple drive to the
supermarket, or maybe construction on a street is

happening so maybe
you have to take a detour, or maybe the route you usually take is
inflated with a mass amount of people because a festival is happening
the day. What’s the point I’m trying to make? Is that literally
anything can happen, including you accidentally injuring or
hopefully, not killing someone. So, what can you do to prepare in
case of any of these scenarios? Well, the answer is simple really.

No matter what, the
best prevention will always be education. Whether it be learning what
to do in case the world goes to hell, or how to make a birthday cake,
educating someone about those topics will best prevent them from
making any mistakes doing those tasks. One of which is driving as
well. So to teach someone about the dangers, how to make a lane
change, even teaching them the hazards of not putting on your seat
belt will be the best than just putting them straight into the
driver’s seat. Now the education is actually mandatory for most
people who want a drivers license, so if that’s the case, then why
are people still getting in accidents?

To be honest, no
one really takes those warnings seriously as they live under the
impression,”Well it’s not gonna happen to me”. As people think
they won’t need a seatbelt as they don’t think they would never get
in an accident. Just like right now, the epidemic is in, people are
taking self hygiene more seriously than ever. It just proves people
won’t do things unless it actually happens to them. So what could be
the solution to solve this? Give them real life examples. I remember
I went to a police station where they taught the dangers in driving,
as I have seen the horrors of accidents and even some have shared
examples of how several of their brothers have been killed due to it.
It was heartbreaking enough to make me take every safety regulation
as seriously as possible. So educating people the hard and serious
truths and purposes of these safety regulations is key, as it is more
than just a law, it’s a life saver too.

So besides that,
what can people do to make sure not only themselves but the other
people around them are safe too? In case you may have forgotten from
the Drivers Ed course, here’s a simple refresher. Under no
circumstances should you drink or do any type of drug. Before
putting the keys in, always put your seat belt on first. Make sure
your car is safe to drive on the road, Use any type of signal you can
to alert others you’re turning or stopping. And never forget, the
pedestrians always come first, as you pose more of a threat than you
do to them.
