Driving.
Driving is something that is very involved in the lifestyles of
people. For instance, people drive to work, to school, to their
favorite place to have fun, and more. Despite the necessity of
driving, driving can be dangerous. It can be dangerous because of the
chance of getting into a car accident or hitting a pedestrian while
driving. However, thanks to driving education this can be prevented.

To
begin with, driving education is vital to reducing the amount of
deaths. It is important because with the proper knowledge about
driving people can avoid getting into car accidents. For example, if
someone properly knows how to properly yield at a yellow light it
will reduce the chance of fatal accidents. Also, if someone knows how
to make a proper U-turn then there will be a little to no chance of a
collision taking place.

Driving
education is not the only way to reduce deaths from driving but
enforcing laws/regulations can reduce it as well. For example, the
government could enforce a law requiring a traffic light being put in
place that includes U-turns. Also, the government can increase the
punishment for not wearing seatbelts.

Unfortunately,
I was a victim of a car crash. The crash happened when I was 5 years
old. The crash happened by someone coming to a sudden stop due to the
light changing to red leading to the person slightly rear-ending my
mother’s vehicle. The impact of the crash was not bad, but I did
end up getting a whiplash and having to go to the doctor. Every day I
think about that crash I realize that if there was a harder impact I
probably would probably be disabled or deceased. I thank God every
day for sparing my life in that crash. To tie back to the importance
of driving education, if the driver knew when to slow down the
accident probably would not have happened.

When
I start to drive sometimes in the next year, I will certainly be
precautious. For instance, I plan to attend a drivers ed school. I
plan to attend a driving school because I would like to know
everything there is to know about driving so I can avoid any sort of
danger. Also, I would like to use that knowledge I learn from driving
school and teach it to others who are about to drive or are already
driving. Therefore, to help make myself and others better and safer
drivers I will attend driving school.

Driving
education is vital. It is vital because it lessens the chance of
deaths from driving. Also, it is just essential to know in general.
