The importance of Drivering with precautions at all times

To do every day things and to get to places we need to drive. Driving
is the number one transportation in the United states. That is why
drivers ed is important, this program is essential for everyone
that is going to get their license or their permit. In this program
they teach so many key elements to be a successful driver on the
road. It teaches us how to prevent deadly accident or how to prevent
situation that can become deadly on the road. It also informs you
more of the laws or rules and statistics. Something that personally
caught my attention are the statistics when people see that there is
a high percentage of death, they are more carful on the road. Here
are some reason for fatal car accident like speeding, D.U.I.,
Distraction while driving, Failure to obey the road signs, Swerving
or Avoiding, Poor weather, and lastly drowsy driving. Many people
think speeding is something normal since they do it every day. Away
to reduce speeding deadly drive is leaving your home a little bit
earlier to arrive at your destination on time. Drinking under the
influence is the number one cause of fatal car accident. A way for
this not to happen is by calling a friend, Uber, lyft, taxi, etc. So,
you don’t have to be behind the wheel and put their life and other
people life in danger. Distraction while driving can be many things
from talking with someone one the phone, texting, eating or even
listening to loud music. A way to prevent distraction can be putting
your phone on your Do Not Disturb mode while driving. Lowering the
Volume of the radio or eating figure food. Another important reason
for fatal accident is obeying road signs. A way to Avoid accident
cause by this is by simply obeying road sign, stop when there is a
stop sign, Yield when it says to yield this are some example.
Swerving or Avoiding many are guilty of this. If you are trying to
Avoid something or Avoid an accident, and this can cause a bigger
accident. A way to Avoid this is slowing down and try to merge to a
different lane or stop completely and put on your blinkers. Poor
Weather this something that we can’t really control is nature. We
just must be careful and if you don’t have to go out when the
weather is not so great don’t go out and stay in. Lastly Drowsy
driving this is a 3% of fatal accidents. A way to avoid this to call
a ride or a uber if you must go out. But I personally have never
experienced a car accident. But that does not mean it hasn’t hit
close to home I have seen the effect it can cause. Someone very close
to me experience one and according to the police officer it should
have been fatal. But luckily, she and her mom survive that awful
accident. On the other hand, I have seen friends and family member
driving irresponsible. I also make sure to correct them or talk to
them on the spot so they STOP right away, and I can prevent a
possible accident. You can take many steps to be safer driver.
Something that is very important is to follow the road signs and the
traffic lights. A way to help other become a safer is to avoid road
rage. Some thing I can do is make sure I always stay a little bit
below speed limit or on speed limit. Another thing I can do as a
person is always check my vehicle especially your tire. No one wants
to have a flat tire while driving and it can possibly cause an
accident. Always keep my hands on the wheel at all time will make me
and everyone around me safer.
