Drive safe and sound to keep you above ground

Nearly
1.25 million people around the world die every year due to road
accidents. On average, that is 3,287 deaths a day and an additional
20-50 million are injured annually all due to car crashes. Driver
Education is something I believe as a necessity and should be
mandatory worldwide. It is a proven fact that humans progressively
get better at something the more they understand and practice it. If
everyone went through a Drivers ed program before they started
driving I believe we will see a lot less car accidents that could
have been easily prevented. Many actions can be taken to ensure safer
roads like stricter traffic laws, being educated on how to drive
along, road experience, and overall just paying attention while on
the road. I have actually lost numerous family members due to car
accidents. For example, my cousin just parked his car when a drunk
driver hit him head on going 60 MPH and killed him instantly. I have
also witnessed my friends try to drive home from parties after
heavily drinking, thankfully I managed to hide their keys in my
pocket. As a driver myself, I vowed against texting and driving,
driving under any influence, and try to stay attentive at the wheel
while always abiding by traffic laws. I help others on the road by
being a responsible driver and urge the entire world to be one also.
