The Key to Safe Driving
Driving
a vehicle may seem simple, but it is actually quite intricate in
terms of safety. Creating a solid education for people who drive is
essential. If people actually fully understand the risks of driving
and how important driving safe is, there will be less deaths that
would occur. They would understand what to do in emergency situations
involving their vehicles, i.e spinning out in snow, which will help
them and others be safer on the roads. A good foundation of the rules
of the road and how to drive itself should be placed upon the new
drivers. They should learn how to drive and how to take care of their
vehicles from the beginning, so they will grow up with good habits.
Then the generations of new drivers can cycle through with the same
basic foundation of safe driving, which will in turn prevent deaths
from accidents. I have seen my friends drive irresponsibly. I have
seen friends go well above the speed limit and swerve through cars. I
have also seen friends on their phones, either texting or talking
while driving. Even though I have told them to stop and tried to get
them to slow down or stop texting, they never listened. So at that
point or, in other words, what I could do to help others become a
safer driver I would talk to them and try to make them realize that
they could get into an accident. Having a conversation about how they
could die or kill their mother who is sitting in the passenger’s seat
right next to them might change their outlook on driving
irresponsibly. I am not saying that I am the best driver out there
because I am no better than any other driver on the road. Personally
I feel that I could educate myself more on how to maneuver my car in
emergency situations. I can help save myself and others in situations
where my car were to spin out or whatever the situation may be.
Unfortunately, people do not realize the dangerous situation they put
themselves and others in until something bad happens which is why
exceptional education is necessary.
