Driver
education gives drivers proper driving practices. If only the drivers
received proper training and road safety education, vehicle accidents
can be reduced. Well trained drivers can make the road safe for
everyone. It helps them to eliminate bad driving behaviors and drive
according to the road safety rules. This makes them to avoid deaths
due to careless road accidents. Having up to date knowledge on road
safety can help prevent the dangers of the road.

Drivers
must be given proper training about traffic rules and they should
obey it. They should be predictable and aware of circumstances that
follow while driving. They should avoid distractions and drive
relaxed. They must be in a good consciousness without any alcohol or
drugs. Above all he should be aware that the lives of people inside
his vehicle are in his hands. So that he will be concerned about
their lives and drive carefully to prevent death which could come by
his hand.

When
I was 10 years old, my father took me to a nearest park at my home
town. He was driving the car and we both were only there in that car.
He plays music while driving. After a short distance we travelled,
there was a sudden jerk and sound as if something broke, a bus
overrides us very fast. My father stopped the car at roadside and
looked for the reason behind that jerk. That bus which came from
behind wanted to overtake us, as music was on, my father couldn’t
hear the horn sound. So when the bus driver overtook, it scratched
our car side and our side mirror broke. From that day on there is no
music box in our car. Avoiding distractions is better to save your
life while driving.

To
be a better and safer driver one should drive the vehicle smoothly.
Focus only on driving and avoid any kind of distractions. Follow
speed limit and don’t hurry at the last minute. Stay alert and
awake. Follow traffic rules. Those people who want to drive should
first join a drivers ed and training center to learn and get
their license to drive. This makes them and others to be safe on
road.
